Successful at the Energy Scout Competition

Congratulations! Aman and Yigithan won the third prize for their commitment in this year's Energy Scout competition. Both are currently completing the 3.5-year chemical technician apprenticeship at our Hamburg site.

As part of the competition, the participating trainees learn to identify potential energy and resource savings in their company and implement solutions.

Part of the Energy Scout competition is also participation in three workshops where knowledge about the basics of energy and energy efficiency is exchanged and imparted. After the workshops, Aman and Yigithan had until the end of April to develop an energy optimization project at their training company. Aman and Yigithan successfully identified energy-saving potential in our production area and designed a training course that sensitizes employees to energy-saving and identifies potential savings.  As a result of this commitment, they were also awarded the "Energy Scout" qualification.
