At the latest when the greeting changes from "Moin" to "Mahlzeit," one of the most important questions of the day arises: "What's for lunch today?" The Mankiewicz canteen offers constantly changing hot dishes that are adapted to the season and freshly prepared by the chefs from regional products. Behind everything is a varied and balanced food concept. The recipe is simple: vegetables and fruits, starch and protein sources are balanced. Theme weeks and seasonal promotions ensure that the lunch break is an experience. First-class quality, sustainably produced products, healthy freshness and a menu plan tailored to guests' wishes are the focus.

A place to feel good 

The Mankiewicz canteen offers almost 200 seats indoors and 50 outdoors in an area of around 500 m². The high, bright rooms offer a place where everyone should feel at home: A meeting place not only for eating, but also for conversations and contacts, to recharge one's batteries, to switch off and to be open to new ideas. The relaxed atmosphere encourages creativity; it is not unusual for new ideas to emerge over a cup of coffee. The interior is modern and cozy with natural materials and plants. For the short, crisp break, there is an area with around 120 seats at oak tables that can accommodate eight to ten people. For a leisurely lunch break, the lounge area seats 80 with little islands to make you feel at home.

Variety around the clock 

The balancing act between healthy food and customer-oriented offerings is important. That's why, in addition to hot meals, fresh greens are always available at the salad bar. Fruit, desserts, cakes, and hot and cold drinks round out the program. And the canteen classic currywurst is also regularly on the menu. For the perfect start to the day, the Coffee Lounge offers selected breakfast treats and coffee specialties. Hot and cold drinks, small snacks and cakes are also available here in the afternoon for refreshment.

A place for everyone 

The canteen is also open all day outside breakfast and lunch times and is available to employees as a break room or place to retreat. Microwaves can be used to heat food even at late hours. Guests, friends, acquaintances of our employees or externals from surrounding companies are welcome to spend their lunch break in our canteen.
