When Anne joined Mankiewicz in 2009, it wasn’t part of a big plan.
“I actually ended up here by coincidence – I had never even heard of Mankiewicz before,” she recalls with a smile.
A friend recommended a short internship in Application Technology – and after just three days, it was clear: this was a perfect fit.
Half a year later, Anne began her apprenticeship as a paint laboratory technician.

In the Industrial Coatings team, she quickly gained hands-on experience. But her desire to study grew stronger. After speaking with the site management, it became clear that Mankiewicz actively supports such ambitions.
Anne received a scholarship, continued working during semester breaks – and stayed connected with her team.
Best of all, Mankiewicz guaranteed her a job after graduation – so her future was secure.

Still Part of the Team

In Kiel, Anne studied Business Chemistry – the perfect combination for her interests: understanding business contexts while deepening her chemical expertise.
After completing her degree, her old team welcomed her back with open arms.

Today, she especially values the team spirit:
“We stick together, work as one – and we also know how to celebrate. Our Christmas parties are the best proof!”

That spirit isn’t just talk – you can feel it. Communication is easy, people know each other, and everyone helps one another.
And one thing is certain: if Anne ever decides to continue her education or take on new challenges, Mankiewicz will be there to support her.
