Driven by Aviation

Gabriel has been part of Mankiewicz since 2006 and today serves as Sales Manager and Key Account Manager for the Aviation Coatings division.
His passion for aviation began early – not on the job, but at the fence of an airport: as a child, his father often took him to Madrid Airport, where he spent hours watching planes take off and land.
“Seeing those incredible machines in the air – that feeling never left me,” he recalls.

The dream of flying stayed with him. And when Gabriel took off himself for the first time at the age of 15, it became clear: airplanes were more than a job – they were his calling.
 

From Hobby to Profession

Originally, Gabriel had no experience in the aviation industry. His early career focused on different business areas.
But his enthusiasm for aircraft was contagious. At Mankiewicz, we believe that people who follow their passion can achieve anything.
“I didn’t have an aviation background – I just loved the industry. And Mankiewicz said: Let him try, we’ve got nothing to lose.”

Today, Gabriel is not only an expert but also one of those people who meet customers with genuine enthusiasm – and are valued for it.
