Every project begins with in-depth consultation on the technical and design feasibility of your requirements. We work closely with your team to review materials, geometries and process conditions. We place particular emphasis on communication in the area of CMF design (colour, material, finish) in order to optimally combine colour and surface effects with function and feasibility.

We consider the entire process at an early stage – from the substrate to the application technology to curing. With the help of modern colorimetry, we define colour tones precisely and reproducibly. We test paint structures under real conditions in our in-house test centre. The development process is accompanied by our experienced technical support team to ensure quality and process reliability in series production.

Which substrates can be coated?

Not all plastics are the same – each substrate has its own properties and challenges. Whether ABS-PC, PP, PC, PA or other engineering plastics: our tailor-made coating systems are precisely matched to the material, geometry and process conditions. Thanks to our many years of experience in series production processes – including in the automotive and aerospace industries – we ensure optimum adhesion, long-lasting surface performance and a high-quality appearance. Even combinations of different materials can be perfectly matched in terms of look and feel – as if they were made from a single mould.

Pre-Treatment

Why is pre-treatment so important?

Pre-treatment is a crucial step for optimum adhesion, durability and functionality of the coating – especially with difficult plastic substrates. Through targeted processes, we enable stable results even on demanding materials. Together with you, we test individual solutions and identify potential for process optimisation.

Layer Structure

What is the ideal layer structure?

A well-planned layer structure is the basis for a high-quality, durable coating result. The rule here is: as much as necessary, as little as possible. Our system approach enables efficient coating processes with precisely coordinated layers – on request, also in a modular system, e.g. with one hardener for several base coats. All layers from a single source guarantee maximum process reliability and long-term performance.

Drying

Which drying processes are used?

Whether conventional, polyurea, with IR or UV, or even in combination – we offer numerous drying technologies tailored to your requirements. This not only optimises processes technically, but also makes them more economical: through shorter cycle times, reduced energy consumption and lower CO₂ emissions. This saves resources – and costs.
